Everything re-arranged and re-packed (had to discard some things, reluctantly). Only things left to do are to dispose of trash, grab a shower, pack up the laptop and grab a cab. Further updates will be through the phone or iPad, depending on WiFi and/or 3G availability.

Well, I’ve now (finally) been hit with the pre-trip jitters, and it’s not fun! It was okay when I had 3 months to go, then two, even one month was not bad, but now that it’s less than two weeks to go, it’s “done got real”!
Hoo boy, it’s now less than 4 weeks till I leave for Japan! Â When it was a few months away, I was kind of relaxed about preparations, but now it’s getting real! Â One big preparation question: buy a JR Rail Pass or not?
