Cat alarm clock?

Apparently this guy has far more patience than I would if I had a cat that did this.  It’s clever on the cat’s part that he was able to figure out how to do this, but I’d either be finding a way to block him, or I’d be finding a place to stow him overnight, like the bathroom.  Or the neighbors’ bathroom.  Or Siberia.
