Just a quick aside, I wanted to show just one small thing that was affected by the horrible earthquake and tsunami of 2011.

Brother and I are back in DC now, jetlagged and going to sleep for many hours. Well, getting to the hotel in Narita was painful, not because of the trip, but by what happened at the station. Sunday morning, getting ready to check out of the Tokyo hotel, on the final leg to the US. Well, we started the day off in rainy Yokohama, without much plan except to check out of the hotel and kill some time before going to Tokyo to check into the next hotel… Good Thursday morning from cloudy, rainy Yokohama. Yesterday’s excursion to see Mount Fuji ended up being rained out, but not before we got most of the way there. Well, today went extremely well, Darrell and I had a good day walking around Matsushima. |
