Wish you were here…

Found a copy of David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, singing an acoustic version of “Wish you were here.”

This was one of my favorite songs when I was in college (so many years ago), and this video shows how even old farts can still rock, without making making an ass of themselves cavorting on stage! It also shows how to make good music without needing all the fancy audio “sweeting” or “processing” that modern music relies on. The best part is the “duet” he sings with his guitar near the end.

(note: if you’re older than 60 or younger than 30, you probably won’t appreciate this as much. “Old people’s” music, or “that’s not music, that’s noise”. You know who you are! ^_^)
